In 2000, The HECAR Foundation organized a Conference and Exhibition, titled ‘Women in Architecture – 2000 Plus’, on the work of women architects with a focus on South Asia. The proceedings of the Conference was brought out in a book by The HECAR Foundation titled ‘An Emancipated Place’.
